[WATCH] No plans to revive GST, says Anwar

PUTRAJAYA has no plans to revive the Goods and Services Tax (GST), Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said.
Anwar said the governmentwill continue to monitor the current economic conditions and consider fiscal measures suitable for short- and medium-term goals.
Anwar, who is also the finance minister, was responding to Dr Zulkafperi Hanafi (Tanjung Karang-PN) who asked if the government plans to reintroduce GST in the country in the short- and medium-term. – November 2, 2023.
