VILLAGERS at Orang Asli settlements in Cameron Highlands are hoping that the new year will bring about bigger and better things as a by-election in their area looms.

They hope that, not only will the right candidates run, but that whoever wins the parliamentary seat in the January 26 polls will give their concerns the attention they deserve.

The by-election will see a four-cornered fight between Pakatan Harapan candidate M. Manogaran, Barisan Nasional’s Ramli Mohd Noor and independents Sallehudin Ab Talib and Wong Seng Yee. – January 13, 2019.
