THE Malaysia Agro Exposition Park Serdang is converted into an integrated quarantine and treatment centre  for Covid-19 as the need for beds grows in tandem with the number of new infections. 

Yesterday Malaysia logged 6,806 new Covid-19 cases in a day, the highest daily count yet since the start of the pandemic, said director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

Selangor continued to contribute the most cases, at 2,277, followed by Kuala Lumpur (655) and Johor (615). Sarawak reported 608 cases, Kelantan (426), Kedah (417), Penang (362), Negri Sembilan (291), Perak (248), Sabah (245), Terengganu (233), Malacca (212), Pahang (157), Putrajaya (35), Labuan (17) and Perlis (8). - May 22, 2021
