Ten years of experience in catering almost caused single mothers Marzidar Zainal, 33, to fall victim to the Covid19 pandemic. Marzidar took a quick step away from allowing herself and her business to be swallowed up by the COVID-19 pandemic by opening a “Ghost” concept eatery with only the help of her three children.

Mohd Helmi Haziq, 11, Helmi Shakira Ummairah,10, and Helmi Tijan Annour, 6, help their mother every day starting from 6 pm by tidying up the eatery and also helping to deliver food to customers.

Marzidar started this business with the remaining savings available and the cooking skills she possessed in September 2021.

“I don’t know what to do. Most of my catering friends struggle and have to close their businesses.”

“I spent RM3000 to buy ghost-concept decorations and started a business in the parking area in my house”. Said Marzidar. - October 21, 2021.
