THAIPUSAM is the biggest festival for Hindus after Deepavali.

Under tight SOP for Thaipusam celebrations this year, the government has banned the carrying of the kavadi and devotees are required to register to attend prayers at temples.

Apart from Batu Caves, the festival is celebrated on a grand scale in temples in Johor Baru, Ipoh and Penang. – January 18, 2022.
