THE Chinese New Year came to an end on Chap Goh Meh, a festival to mark “the 15th night”.

About 50 people gathered near the beach in Tanjung Harapan in Klang to release a lantern into the sky, which is a metaphor for letting go of the past.

The colour red is a symbol of good fortune and the brightness of the lantern means a good future. – February 16, 2022.
