AS the curtains come down on the general election, it has become obvious during the two-week campaign that voters are willing to rough it out in the inclement weather to listen to party leaders.

Progress and the country’s future now lie in the hands of more than 12.6 million voters still on the fence and young voters between 18 and 40 years old.

They are the kingmakers and decide whether Barisan Nasional, Perikatan Nasional or Pakatan Harapan will form a new government and govern Malaysia for five years from Sunday.

They are the majority, or 58%, of the more than 21.1 million registered voters, issued by the Election Commission as of December 2021. – November 18, 2022.
