AFTER a hiatus, the La Salle Games made a comeback this year, with eight schools under the La Sallean network participating. The schools are host La Salle PJ, La Salle Brickfields, La Salle Klang, La Salle Sentul, St John’s Institution (KL), St Paul’s Institution (Seremban), St Francis Institution (Malacca) as well as St John’s International (KL), all of which competed in six sports.

The self-funded annual event was put on the backburner for 30 years due to a lack of manpower and resources to hold an event of such a large scale. Under the new government and with substantial contribution from La Salle’s alumni, or Lasallians, through the Malaysian Federation of Lasallian Alumni Associations and De La Salle Brothers of Malaysia, the competition for children under 14 years old is back with a bang. – July 14, 2018.
