SUPPORTERS of independent candidate Isa Samad were told off for distributing water bottles bearing his image at SK Telok Kemang polling centre in Port Dickson today.

According to a volunteer, the group was told off by Election Commission (EC) officers. They had to remove the wrapper with Isa’s face before handing out the water bottles again.

They have also moved away from the polling centre and are distributing water bottles at a bus stop in front of the school.

The voting centre has been a hotspot for supporters of PAS and Pakatan Harapan, who have gathered in numbers.

Party volunteers have been trying to woo voters by canvassing on the sides of the road leading to the school.

Earlier today, Pakatan Harapan candidate Anwar Ibrahim, PAS’ Mohd Nazari Mokhtar and Anwar’s former aide Saiful Bukhari Azlan were spotted at the voting centre just minutes apart from each other.

Isa, a former Negeri Sembilan menteri besar who had quit Umno to contest as an independent, has been going around in a convoy comprising cars with purple plastic chairs attached to their roofs.
