PKR president Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail said the party will investigate a claim by deputy president contender Rafizi Ramli that there are candidates engaging in money politics in the ongoing party election.
She said she was not aware of any complaints on the matter as yet.
“We will investigate,” she said in the parliament lobby today.
Dr Wan Azizah also said the party’s election committee (JPP) would call Rafizi if there was a need to speak to him.
Rafizi said that some candidates had paid RM100 for a delegate’s vote in the election that has so far been conducted in six states.
He is up against incumbent Economic Affairs Minister Mohamed Azmin Ali for the party’s deputy president post. – October 16, 2018.
