AT the rate the Pakatan Harapan campaign is going in Sandakan, Vivian Wong can expect certain victory at the polls on Saturday, PKR president Anwar Ibrahim said, today.

He said Wong’s popularity has surged since nomination day on April 27.

“I have just arrived here today and I visited some Malay and Chinese areas.

“In some parts, Vivian is much more popular than me. People are more familiar with her than with me after one week of campaigning,” Anwar said, at the Sandakan town Ramadan bazaar today.

“I have also met with the PH leaders in the state and they are in good spirits.”

Wong and Sabah PH chairman Christina Liew were also present.

Anwar is on a one-day visit to the Sabah east coast district and expected to speak at a ceramah in Bandar Prime, Mile 4, at 9pm tonight.

Prior to that, the prime minister-in-waiting will visit mosques in the district.

“My advice to the campaigners is to continue to go out there and listen to the Sandakan folk, raise the issues that matters to them.” – May 7, 2019.
