MACC arrests Malaysian Cycling Federation president

GRAFT-BUSTERS have arrested the Malaysian Cycling Federation president for allegedly giving contracts to his family.
Abu Samah Abdul Wahab was picked up at his house in Malacca yesterday, said a Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission source.
The source said Abu Samah has been remanded for four days, beginning today.
He is accused of doling out contracts worth RM325,000 to family members.
MACC deputy chief commissioner Azam Baki confirmed the arrest.
“He was arrested yesterday, and will be remanded till February 2.” – January 30, 2020.
