20 sen petrol subsidy can help BN win GE14, says Rafizi

A SARCASTIC Rafizi Ramli today told Prime Minister Najib Razak that all he had to do to win the 14th general election is to give a 20 sen petrol subsidy for the next two months.
The PKR vice-president and Pandan MP said December and January were the hardest for many families, especially those with schooll-going children as they incurred extra expenses, such as school supplies and fees, ahead of the new school year.
“We ask Najib to give a petrol subsidy of 20 sen per litre. It’s not for long. Just two months. December and January are the most difficult because people have to spend on things like new shoes and school fees.
Last night, pump prices of petrol hit a record high under the Means of Platts Singapore (MOPS) system adopted since March 30 to calculate fuel prices.
RON95 increased by 7 sen to RM2.31 per litre, RON97 is now up 6 sen to RM2.60 and diesel is up 3 sen to RM2.20. These prices are for November 9 to 15. – November 9, 2017.
