19 new clusters, 11 at workplaces

THE Health Ministry detected 19 new Covid-19 clusters involving 11 at workplaces, five in the community, two among high-risk groups and one in a detention centre.

Health Ministry director-general Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the 19 clusters are located in Sabah, Selangor, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Terengganu, Penang, Pahang, Sarawak and Melaka.

He said this brings the cumulative number clusters to 2,623 with 834 active groups nationwide.

The workplace clusters are:

1. Industri Lebuh Satu in Klang, Kuala Selangor and Petaling, Selangor (18)

2. Industri Solok Waja 1 in Klang, Selangor (22)

3. Industri Meranti Dua in Sepang, Selangor (39)

4. Tapak Bina Perindustrian Olak Lempit in Kuala Langat, Selangor (36)

5. Tapak Bina Persiaran Hamidiah in Hulu Langat, Selangor (244)

6. Tapak Bina Jalan Seri Tg Pinang in Timur Laut, Penang (25)

7. Jalan Bundusan in Kota Kinabalu and Penampang, Sabah (9)

8.  Indera Mahkota 16 in Kuantan, Pahang (9)

9. Lorong Empat Jerantut in Jerantut, Pahang (9)

10. Kg Kubang Panjang in Pasir Mas and Kota Baru, Kelantan (36)

11. Industri Lukut Tiga in Port Dickson, Negeri Sembilan (35)
