23 new Covid-19 clusters reported today

WORKPLACE and community transmission clusters made up the list of 23 new Covid-19 clusters identified by the Health Ministry today, director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said.
According to Noor Hisham, workplace clusters accounted for 13 groupings, while the remaining 10 stemmed from transmissions in the community.
The workplace clusters were detected at factories, service companies, construction sites and a plantation. They are as follows:

Jalan Selayang Utama in Gombak, Selangor (15 cases)
Industri Perkampungan Perabut, Hulu Selangor (12 cases)
Laluan Kuala Selangor construction site, Kuala Selangor (nine cases)
Industri Jalan Usaha Lima, Malacca Tengah and Jasin, Malacca (26 cases)
Industri Bukit Minyak 11, Seberang Prai Tengah, Penang (34 cases)
C2 Kubang Kerian, Kota Baru and Bachok (10 cases)

The Kemahang Dua, Jalan Biru and Kg Muring clusters stemmed from a funeral, while Kuala Permai and Jalan Permai groups were linked to visits.
Noor Hisham said there are currently 870 active clusters nationwide. – July 13, 2021.
