26 new Covid-19 clusters, 20 linked to workplaces

TWENTY-SIX new Covid-19 clusters were detected today, of which 20 are linked to workplaces.
Of the remaining clusters, five are community clusters and one traced to an academic institution.
Director-general of health Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah said the clusters are in Johor, Selangor, Kedah, Kelantan, Negri Sembilan, Perak, Sarawak, Malacca and Kuala Lumpur.
This raises the number of active clusters to 1,470 and the total number of clusters nationwide to 4,673.
The workplace clusters are:
1. Industri Tahana in Johor Baru, Johor (89 cases);
2. Industri Istimewa satu in Johor Baru, Johor (30);
3. Jalan Parit Bakar Darat in Muar, Johor (29);
4. Jalan Perindustrian Empat in Kulai, Johor (20);
5. Industri Lapangan Satu in Kulai, Johor (11);
6. Industri I-Park 59 in Kulai, Johor (10);
7. Industri Jalan Taiping in Petaling, Selangor (31);
8. Industri Jalan P10/16 in Hulu Langat and Kuala Langat, Selangor (30);
9. Industri Jalan Korporat 1A in Klang, Selangor (29);
10. Industri Jalan KPK Setengah in Gombak, Selangor (22);
11. Jalan Industri Tiga Jelapang in Kinta, Perak (109);
12. Industri Perusahaan Tiga Buntar in Kerian, Perak (82);
13. Jalan Perusahaan Sembilan in Larut, Matang and Selama in Perak (31);
14. Jalan Masjid Lama Bandar Pasir Mas in Pasir Mas, Kelantan (8);
15. Jalan Kuarters Pengawai in Pasir Puteh, Kelantan (7);
16. Jalan Intisari in Kepong, Kuala Lumpur (8);
17. Industri Jalan PK 34 in Melaka Tengah, Malacca (80);
18. Tapak Bina Rimbun in Seremban, Negri Sembilan (67);
19. Industri Dua Bukit Panchor in Seberang Perai Selatan, Penang (39); and
20. Bandar Baru Mukah in Mukah and Dalat, Sarawak (38).
The community clusters are:
1. Jalan Pauh Lima Gunong in Bachok and Pasir Puteh, Kelantan (42 cases);
2. Aring Satu in Gua Musang, Kelantan (20);
3. Kg Limau Purut in Pasir Mas, Kelantan (6);
4. Kaman in Bau, Sarawak (63); and
5. Kg Batu Kitang Jaya in Kuching, Sarawak (34).
The academic institution cluster is Langat Murni in Kuala Langat, Selangor with 17 cases. – August 29, 2021.
