MALAYSIA reported 45 Covid-19 deaths yesterday, of which 10 were brought in dead cases, said the Health Ministry (MOH).

The fresh fatalities bring the death toll to 30,240.

The daily death count is the sum of the reported deaths on a particular day plus just-confirmed Covid-19 fatalities by the health authorities.

Perak and Sabah registered the highest number of deaths yesterday, with eight each, according to MOH’s GitHub raw data repository.

Johor recorded five deaths; Pahang, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur and Kelantan recorded four each; Terengganu and Sarawak recorded three each; and, Perlis and Negri Sembilan reported one each.

Kedah, Penang, Malacca and Putrajaya did not report any fatality.

The country’s Covid-19 death rate remains at 0.8% as of yesterday, with the national fatality average at 15 per population of 1 million. – November 27, 2021.
