More Muda flood volunteers test positive for Covid-19

AT LEAST nine Muda flood relief volunteers working in its flood relief headquarters have now tested positive for Covid-19, the party said in a statement.
Information chief Zaidel Bahauridin said that some of those who tested positive were close contacts of the four confirmed cases two days ago.
“Following the completion of tests, the total number of positive cases linked to Muda’s flood relief co-ordination headquarters has increased to nine people.
“Four of these cases were close contacts to the four other cases that previously tested positive and were confirmed by a PCR test,” he said.
Zaidel said five positive cases were also detected among volunteers working on the ground in Negri Sembilan.
“All close contacts have been notified and all positive cases have been reported to the Ministry of Health.”
Meanwhile, 100 volunteers from Johor Muda helping out in Bentong have tested negative after an RTK-Antigen test.
On Tuesday, Muda said four of its volunteers working at the party’s flood relief co-ordination headquarters tested positive for Covid-19. – December 30, 2021.
