KHAIRY Jamaluddin urged Sg Kandis voters to teach Pakatan Harapan a lesson for failing to fulfil its 100-day promises.

The former Umno Youth chief said voters in the country, including those in Sg Kandis, were fed sweet promises from Pakatan Harapan.

“These promises of a better life, lower cost of living, free services, low fuel, food and goods prices that they could be implemented in 100 days.

“How many days are left? Do you feel better? Has cost of living come down? Have prices come down? Have tolls been abolished? Has fuel prices been lowered and PTPTN (debts) written off?” Khairy asked some 300 ceramah-goers at Taman Sri Andalas last night.

The Rembau MP said PH cannot blame the national debt for failing to fulfil its election promises.

“(You) have to demand that they fulfil their promises by voting for Lokman (Noor) Adam,” said the former minister.

With only four BN assemblymen and one PAS representative in the Selangor assembly, Lokman will be a strong opposition voice in the house, he said.

“(From Sg Kandis), to Balakong and Seri Setia, we must increase the number of opposition representatives in Selangor,” Khairy said.

After the death of three PH assemblymen, the coalition now has 48 seats in Selangor.

Mat Shuhaimi Shafiei (PKR- Sg Kandis) and Prof Dr Shaharuddin Badaruddin (PKR- Seri Setia) died of cancer while Ng Tien Chee (DAP- Balakong) was killed in a car accident on July 20. – August 3, 2018.
