IF you spied a group of people wearing sarongs on the trains yesterday, that’s because Keretapi Sarong has returned from a three-year hiatus.

Held in conjuction with Malaysia Day, participants celebrated in style by donning the sarong in the most fashionable and creative ways to explore Kuala Lumpur’s train systems.

Participants first gathered at five different stations before converging at the Muzium Negara MRT. The train journey was lively and vibrant - participants sang, danced and even played games to commemorate Malaysia’s 54th birthday. – September 17, 2017.
