[WATCH] Business as usual at Serdang Heart Centre

All issues pertaining to operating theatres (OT) in the 15-month old Pusat Jantung Hospital Serdang (Serdang Heart Centre) are expected to be resolved next month, Sultan Idris Shah Hospital deputy director Dr Ferwahn Fairis.
The heart centre is part of the main hospital.
The heart centre was opened in December 2022 with the aim of reducing the dependency on Kuala Lumpur’s National Heart Institute (IJN).
A recent media report said that all four of the centre’s operating theatres cannot be used and are facing maintenance issues.
In an interview with The Malaysian Insight, Dr Ferwahn said the heart centre faced problems with its climate control systems. – May 28, 2024.
