Activist fulfils promise to cut off two decade old hair

ARTIST and activist Rahmat Haron is well known for his poetry, performances and dreadlocks.
Last night, Rahmat had his long hair, which he has kept for the last 20 years, cut off in front of his friends.
“I do feel sad, but not to the extent of not fulfilling my promise,” said Rahmat.
Rahmat started sporting dreadlocks in 2004, and made a vow to only cut it off when Umno and Barisan Nasional was no longer in power. - June 4, 2018.
